Thanks for your guess, Feroz. Not quite right but not a million miles away.

28 & 135 ?

That's pretty much what I would have guessed - but it's not spot on this time.

35mm tilt/shift and 200mm

You've gone the extra mile with the tilt/shift and I can see why, but not quite right this time.

Are you and Jon Sparks collaborating? I would not have predicted two answers including a tilt/shift. Not right this time but an interesting answer.

Haha.....no collab goin on Gav.

I’ve recently pick up a tilt shift and thought I spotted its signature.

Cheers for getting back to me

Thank you Helmut. It wasn't 24 and 200 on this occasion but a good guess.

Wow, Dennis Stock was an inventive composer of frames! Thanks for getting me to take a dive into his work. Curious what your eye does with the Times Square black fence. Do you see it in 2 dimensions as an arrow pointing to Dean or do you follow it like a leading line into the distance?

Good question. I see a fence but if I squint my eyes to the point where detail disappears and only two-dimensional shapes are discernible, it does indeed look like an arrow pointing inwards. I read somewhere about an artist saying they often squinted at their work to see what shapes were revealed. That was well-seen. I shall be squinting at the world for the rest of the week!

35 and 50. (What a fun exercise!)

I love that you included Benj Haisch video with the story. Wow, that's really unbelievable, and def a commercial for putting air tags directly on gear. I have them on my dogs, why not on my gear lol.

And isn't Photographer such a great series! I hope they continue it with another season. So interesting.

Love your newsletter!

Thank you, Aileen. 35 & 50 isn't exactly right but it's as close as it's possible to get. Answers in the next newsletter. I hadn't thought about using an AirTag for a pet before watching Benj Haisch's video and learning more about AirTag holders. I'm pleased you like the Photographer series. I had high hopes and it actually proved to be even better than expected. Hope you're having an excellent week.
