Lovely and colorful read. I’ve certainly seen plenty of rainbow umbrellas. I actually have a friend with one. Sadly, I don’t think I have any images of them.
Loved this post. How cool. The number 22 follows me around, appearing in all sorts of places - a manhole cover, the side of a beer bottle, my own passport numbers, everywhere. Also, the shot of the man in India with the book - absolutely stunning!
I think it must. Oh, and I also caught a rainbow umbrella once in Bangkok with my camera. Right on Yaowarat Road, in the middle of a crazy downpour, as this woman was trying to convince her toddler to stop splashing in puddles. We had a great vantage from the Red Rose bar at Shanghai Mansion. I should be back in Bangkok this summer. I'll see if you're around then!
May you continue to see umbrellas wherever you go. Rainbow, of course
Possibly the finest wish I've ever received. Thank you!

Thank you, Jenny. Love your comment. I'm hoping the number 22 is a lucky one for you. Perhaps it has a deeper significance?

Splashing in puddles beneath a rainbow umbrella sounds like it would make a memorable photo.
I've just left Bangkok but will be back sometime this year. I hope our paths will cross.
