I love love LOVE this project. Is there any way I can know more/help? The images the kids produce are almost irrelevant - though many of them are excellent. It’s being seen.

That's such an encouraging response. Thank you. And you've hit the nail on the head – the images aren't nearly as important as the opportunity for the children to engage with their own creativity.

I hope to return to this project soon. It needs a little time and thought. But I will certainly post information in the newsletter. Keep reading 🤩

There’s a documentary called Finding Family, about a Bosnians return to his home country. He was a Sarajevo orphan, and his life was changed by a photographer gifting him a camera. Small actions can lead to tremendous things

I found the documentary on Apple TV – purchased and downloaded. Thank you for the pointer.

Excellent photographs! Who can foretell the enormous repercussions of this project? I bet they'll be as expansive as the wings of an infinitely colorful butterfly. A touching read amidst everything else we have going on and, as art always is (and young artists always are) a ray of authentic hope.

I do remember when you first reached out for resources for this project. Do let me know if you do it again.

Wonderful project Gavin. I love the 'I see you, you see me' aspect. It's obvious on one level, and profound and moving - us seeing one another is what makes connection, empathy and community. Did I miss the part where we can donate to the project? Please provide!

Thank you, Christine.

Connection: more important than ever!

I'm not seeking donations currently but when that time comes, I shall be knocking on your door 😉

Beautiful Gavin. So moving to read the stories of these children and the world you've opened up to them. Well done. Well done.
